Baby Pictures
We require a baby picture for the Graduation slideshow. Please have your student scan or take a photo of the photo and submit to the proper assignment on the Grad Google Classroom. We will not be accepting photos through email. If your child is not in the classroom, please have them join! Classroom Code ueqc2se
Overview of Graduation Day 2024
Wednesday, June 5 - Decorating Bonnetts Energy Centre (only a small group of students). If students are required, we will put together a team to go over, however we will be using the same decorator as we have in the past.
Thursday, June 6
12:30 - 1:30 - Grad Lunch
1:30 - Graduates will meet for practice (we will be handing out the cap and gowns to the students)
Friday, June 7 - Cap and Gown Ceremony
7:45 - 8:30 - Grad Breakfast (at the school)
8:30 -10:00 - Graduates move to the gym for group photo
10:00 -11:20 - Family Time
11:20 - Graduates arrive at Bonnetts Energy Centre. Students will meet at the ticket area outside of Bowes Family Garden. Each family will receive 6 complimentary tickets (graduate does not need a ticket). General seating for families - there is no need to reserve seats ahead of time. Cap and gown will be worn during the entire ceremony.

Grad is a one-day event. Ceremonies will end about 3:00-3:30pm
Questions:
What about Safe Grad? Grand March?
- Safe Grad is not a school-sponsored event. Due to underage drinking, the school does not approve of this event and can have no part in promoting or planning of the event. The school name and address cannot be used in any advertisements, donation letters, swag (special apparel for either event) or other forms of communication.
Can the day be extended so that Grad starts later?
- Unfortunately, due to contracts with different companies, and the fact our sister school John Paul II uses the facility the day before ours, the Grad times must remain the same. Please ensure students have a bigger lunch before Grad starts. Grads are also encouraged to grab a snack before going to Bowes Family Gardens. Please eat before arrival.
How do we get tickets for graduation? Extra tickets?
- Tickets will be available in May. Each family will receive 6 complimentary tickets. The graduate does not require a ticket.
