Every year, Alberta Education asks parents with kids in Grades 4, 7, and 10 to complete the annual Accountability Pillar Survey by February 28, 2020.
Alberta Education is mailing surveys and postage-paid envelopes to homes in January,
along with a link for those who would rather complete it online.

It is important that parents answer all of the questions in the survey and preferable refrain from indicting “I don’t know”. This particular response will negatively impact a school’s results and not provide quality information. If you seek information your school principal will happily provide you with the information you need.
“Information gathered from the survey allow us to better gauge how our schools are performing, provide our schools with positive comments, and at the same time highlight to schools the areas they can improve,” stated Superintendent Karl Germann.
Catholic schools strive to teach the values that last a lifetime, such as faith, kindness, honesty and compassion.
Parents will be asked to answer questions (By February 20) from the following areas: Student Learning Opportunities; Safe and Caring School Environment; Student learning achievement; Preparation for Lifelong Learning, World of Work & Citizenship (faith); Parental Involvement; and School Improvement.
The information is gathered and analyzed by Alberta Education and the results are shared with our school division in May. We hope you will take the time to complete the survey and provide your classroom teacher and principal with honest and positive feedback.
