Welcome Back! Important Dates & Information.

Welcome back Ceinahs & Celtics! Classes begin on Tuesday September 3rd at 8:40am. The gymnasium will be open by 8:00am for schedule pick-up and staff will be on hand to answer questions.

Before the first day back listed below are a number of important dates and information links that will ensure you start the year off on the right foot!

School Office reopens as of August 19th, 2019.

  • August 20, 21, 22                     School open for Registration appointments for new students.
  • August 21 and 22                     Office is open for school fee payments, locker sign out and bus-pass distribution.
  • August 21st to August 27th        School Counselor available for timetable change requests.
  • August 29th 7:00pm – 8:00pm Meet the Teacher Night! We invite both new and returning families to come and meet the teachers as well as tour the school.

**NEW FOR 2019-2020:  Please note that cellular devices are not allowed in class during instructional time; this includes all classroom and learning common areas. Air Pods, Ear-Buds and all headphones ARE NOT permitted to be worn during Instructional time. If the classroom teacher approves and a student wants to access personal music during work time they will only be permitted to do so via an audio-only device such as an *I-Pod Shuffle. If interested they can be purchased via multiple on-line stores. CELL PHONES AND OTHER ELECTRONICS ARE ONLY PERMITTED DURING NON-INSTRUCTIONAL TIMES.

Lunch Hour:

  • For Grade 8 students St. Joseph is a closed campus meaning students must have written parental permission in order to leave school grounds during lunch hour.
  • For Grades 9-12 students St. Joseph is an open campus. Please note that there is no supervision of students off campus and the responsibility of students is assumed by the parents anytime a student is off campus during the school day unless accompanied by a staff member for school purposes.
